Amelia Moses is a film director & screenwriter based in Montreal. As a filmmaker she interested in female driven stories of the macabre and the uncanny.
Her work has been screened at genre festivals around the world including Fantasia, Fantastic Fest and Stiges, and has been written about by publications such as The Hollywood Reporter and The New York Times.
Her first feature Bleed with Me was described as a “fresh and vibrant psychological horror which explores the dangers of obsession, intimacy and co-dependency” and was acquired by Shudder in 2021.
She recently directed a thriller for Tubi and her short film Her Body is currently on the festival circuit. In 2024 she won the Banff Jean-Marc Vallee DGC bursary. She is currently in development on a supernatural folk horror feature which was supported by the inaugural BendFilm Basecamp. She is repped by Curate Management.
