Amelia Moses is a film director & screenwriter based in Montreal. As a filmmaker she’s interested in female driven stories of the macabre and the uncanny.
Her work has been screened at genre festivals around the world including Fantasia, Fantastic Fest and Sitges, and has been written about by publications such as The Hollywood Reporter and The New York Times.
Her first feature Bleed with Me was described as a “fresh and vibrant psychological horror which explores obsession, intimacy and co-dependency” and was acquired by Shudder in 2021.
In 2024, she won the DGC Jean-Marc Vallée bursary at the Banff World Media Festival, and was a fellow of the inaugural BendFilm:Basecamp. She is repped by Curate Management.
