Amelia Moses is a Montreal based writer, director and producer. As a filmmaker she is interested in female-driven stories of the macabre and the uncanny. She sees the horror genre as a vehicle to explore our deepest anxieties.
Her first feature Bleed With Me (writer, director, producer) was selected as part of Telefilm’s Talent to Watch program and was released as a Shudder Original in 2021. Her second feature Bloodthirsty (director) premiered at Fantastic Fest and was nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards.
She recently wrapped a new short film shot in Nova Scotia. She produces through her production company Havoc Films.
